PVP is BACK and BADASS!
Tuesday, May 15, 2012:This new system will require both parties to have PVP enabled (as with the old game), when you attack someone with PVP turned on it will immediately open a combat window on your screen and also for your target.
You can then deal damage to your opponent and vice versa in real time. First person to get the other person to 0 health wins.

Without the eggs her friends were painting Easter will be lost and the little kids and orphans of myzan will go without.
This event includes the items Fuzzy wuzzy bunny hat and Egg collectors box (100 slot bag) as well as five incredibly cute related pets!

New Dedicated Server Launches
Saturday, March 17, 2012:We have now upgraded Lands of Hope: Phoenix Edition from a hosted server in our offices to a professional graded dedicated server in a modern data center.
After having some problems in the past few days with our ISP it became apparent that we were letting our players down by continuing to use our own hosted solution.
While our hardware was great and more than able to run the game our ISP experienced two technical faults this week that meant our level of service to you was severely diminished and far below what we find personally acceptable.
Up until this week our ISP had generally been good.
The new server should have 99.9% uptime (except when Decius is breaking something) provide faster speeds due to a bigger bandwidth / internet connection and be more easily accessible to some of our international users.
Once again we apologize for the hiccups this week and hope you all are pleased with the new server.

Monsters of Olympus Unleashed
Friday, March 02, 2012:Lands of Hope Phoenix Edition now includes the Monsters of Olympus a brand new realm with additional questions, monsters and much more. Included with the Premium/Pre-order Content Pack.
At Level 1500 once you have advanced to the end of the Underworld you may travel to Mount Olympus, the seat of power for the old gods.
It is here where you will uncover what has happened to the gods as the Titan Invasion continues!
The bosses in this realm have over 2million hitpoints and can be defeated Solo (over a period of tine) or as a combined effort with several players at once.
Rewards include powerful god weapon improvements, as well as the weapons of the gods themselves!
You do not want to miss this ...
We also now have a new shortened URL to access the game

New Domains Acquired
Friday, February 24, 2012:The new domain names are:
and
Both are being added to Google and the former should make accessing the game faster with less letters to type, while the latter may draw more gaming traffic to our site through Google.
We would like to thank everyone who has played so far and mention that we are now listed on two of the largest game directories on the net at the moment for Browser Games.

Old is New and New is Old
Tuesday, July 19, 2011:For about a year I have been using a well known "Open Source" forum product as the Game forum but it has too many security loop holes for my liking. We were getting up to 50 signups a day and perhaps only 1 or 2 of them were real people with an interest in the game the others were spammers and bots that in some cases got through security and made posts.
On the other hand my Forum which we used for some 7 years rarely had such problems.
So without further adieu I would like to announce the Old Forums are back as the main forum at http://www.forlornonline.com/forums/ for a short while anyone that wishes to recover topics they made in the "old" new forum can do so at http://www.regalcomputerservices.com/forums/ as I have no way to transfer them myself.
Thanks!

Phoenix Edition Udpates
Tuesday, July 19, 2011:Thanks to everyone who took part. Everyone that answered a survey I sent out to participants of the Closed BETA responded to say they loved the BETA and would be definately playing the game when it releases.
We had a lot of other great results and comments from the BETA and only a handful of bugs were discovered/reported which I hope is great news!
We still have Pre-orders left and there will be a second BETA event early in August for Pre-order players.
Please note the Mystery Gift stocks are now very low so order now to avoid disappointment!

Phoenix Edition Details and T-shirt
Tuesday, April 05, 2011:I have now decided on some prices for pre-order packages and what you will all get for the price.
I realize they are a lot of money but printing a custom t-shirt costs $$$$, and a third to a half of the money will be used to pay for the t-shirts the rest will come back to me and be used to fund new artwork and the costs associated with running a game.
