Dungeons

There are three kinds of dungeons in Phoenix Edition.

  1. Regular
  2. Key Made
  3. Player Made

Regular Dungeons

These are dungeons made by the maker of Phoenix Edition (Decius). They are integral to the game and feature many twists and turns, quests, monsters, locked doors and bosses to defeat / find your way through. These typically show up on World > Landmarks.

Key Made Dungeons

When you kill a monster there is a chance you will get a Lesser, Jagged or Regular Dungeon Key. These are special items that you can use from your Inventory to create a private dungeon. The size, complexity and difficulty of the dungeon depends on the type of key.

Typically these dungeons have no set goal or ending, but the dungeon itself is temporary.

Player Made Dungeons

Those players rich / lucky enough to own land may find that if they have a Dungeon zoned tile they can build a dungeon. There are small, medium and large dungeons. With the biggest dungeon having something like 500 rooms in it!

Players can customize these dungeons using many advanced tools, they can change the appearance, set what items the dungeon has in it etc ...

They can customize the monster spawns, and create special quests for players to complete.

If you find a Boss in one of these dungeons and defeat it the boss will respawn somewhere else. This keeps the dungeon fresh and means that even if you regulalry go to one specific dungeon the play experience is different each time.

Note: Inside a player made dungeon there is a 1 in 400 chance of a Dungeon Prize Token spawning as loot. These are cool tokens that are needed to claim even cooler rewards!

An NPC at 28, 28 KV offers cool rewards for completing Player Dungeons and other items to help administer / fast customize your Player Made Dungeons.

Players fighting inside another players dungeon will receive dxp, or Dungeon Experience.
